Description
Clindoxyl Gel Tube (Benzoyl Peroxide Clindamycin) is an anti-acne agent. It is typically used to treat acne vulgaris (a common chronic skin disease involving blockage and/or inflammation of pilosebaceous units (hair follicles and their accompanying sebaceous gland)). It may also have other uses.

Clindoxyl Gel Tube (Benzoyl Peroxide Clindamycin) is typically applied to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening). However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Skin should be clean and dry before applying. For external use only, avoid applying to inside nose, mouth, eyes, vagina, mucous membranes, and on areas of broken skin WARNING: Benzoyl peroxide may bleach hair, colored fabric, or carpeting. In addition to its desired action, Clindoxyl Gel Tube (Benzoyl Peroxide Clindamycin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause application site scaling, local dryness It may cause application site erythema (superficial reddening of the skin), application site itching It may cause stinging of the skin, sunburn It may cause application site burning, application site reaction Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, lincomycin, or any component of the formulation, history of intestinal diseases such as regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, pseudomembranous colitis or antibiotic-associated colitis. Taking Clindoxyl Gel Tube (Benzoyl Peroxide Clindamycin) during pregnancy is contraindicated and harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Clindoxyl Gel Tube (Benzoyl Peroxide Clindamycin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
