Description
Coversyl Plus (Perindopril Indapamide) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used to treat high blood pressure. It may also have other uses.

Coversyl Plus (Perindopril Indapamide) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer this drug prior to a meal in the morning. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with pre diabetes or diabetes mellitus (a disease that occurs when your blood sugar, is too high), it may cause a change in glucose (sugar) control. Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) impairment. Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment. Use with caution in patients cardiovascular (heart) problems. In addition to its desired action, Coversyl Plus (Perindopril Indapamide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause abdominal pain, constipation, cough (dry, persistent), diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, loss of appetite, nausea. It may cause sleep disturbances, sweating, taste changes (e.g., metallic taste), tiredness, vomiting, weakness. Contraindications: if you are allergic to Perindopril, Indapamide, or any ingredients of the medication, if you are allergic to sulfa (sulfonamide) medications (e.g., sulfamethoxazole), if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are not using effective birth control, if you are breastfeeding, if you are taking the medication sacubitril/valsartan, if you have decreased kidney function or are unable to pass urine, if you have untreated high or low potassium, if you have had angioedema (a serious allergic reaction that causes the area around the throat and tongue to swell) after taking any ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril, ramipril), if you have diabetes (high blood sugar level) or kidney disease and are taking aliskiren (antihypertensive drug), if you have galactose (sugar) intolerance or lactose (sugar) intolerance, if you have hereditary angioedema or angioedema with no known cause, if you have severely decreased liver function. Taking Coversyl Plus (Perindopril Indapamide) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Coversyl Plus (Perindopril Indapamide) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
