Cuti Base Ceramyd HC Eczema Topical Cream (Hydrocortisone) is a topical cream containing a corticosteroid agent (hydrocortisone). It is typically used to temporarily relieve itching, minor skin irritations, redness and rashes due to eczema (a condition that makes your skin red and itchy). It may also have other uses.

Cuti Base Ceramyd HC Eczema Topical Cream (Hydrocortisone) is typically applied sparingly on the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: For external use only. If symptoms worsen or persist more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, stop the use of Cuti Base Ceramyd HC Eczema Topical Cream (Hydrocortisone) and do not begin any other hydrocortisone product unless directed otherwise by your doctor. In addition to its desired action, Cuti Base Ceramyd HC Eczema Topical Cream (Hydrocortisone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause stinging, burning, irritation, dryness, or redness at the application site. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any other component of the formulation, use in or around the eyes, application to large areas, children <2 years of age, treatment for diaper rash. Taking Cuti Base Ceramyd HC Eczema Topical Cream (Hydrocortisone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method.
