Description
Dalacin C (Clindamycin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used to treat infections in different parts of the body caused by bacteria. It works by killing or stopping the growth of the bacteria causing your infection. It may also have other uses.

Dalacin C (Clindamycin)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. Your doctor or nurse will administer Dalacin C (Clindamycin) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) problems. Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal (stomach and intestine) diseases. In addition to its desired action, Dalacin C (Clindamycin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, hypersensitivity reaction, stomach pain. It may cause difficulty in breathing, fever, cough, swelling of eyelids, face or lips. It may cause abnormal hepatic function tests, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to clindamycin, similar agents, or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, or breastfeeding contact your family doctor. A treatment with Dalacin C (Clindamycin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
