Derma Smoothe FS Eczema Oil (Fluocinolone) is an topical corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to treat eczema, a skin condition which causes red, irritated, and itchy skin. It may also have other uses.

Derma Smoothe FS Eczema Oil (Fluocinolone) is typically used three times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Apply the least amount necessary to cover the affected area WARNING: Children may absorb proportionally larger amounts after topical application and may be more prone to side effects. Not for oral, ophthalmic (eye), or intravaginal use, do not apply to the face, axillae (the space below the shoulder through which vessels and nerves enter and leave the upper arm, a person's armpit), or groin unless directed by healthcare provider. In addition to its desired action, Derma Smoothe FS Eczema Oil (Fluocinolone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause application site reactions (stinging, burning, irritation, dryness, itching, or redness) It may cause temporary hair loss, acne, excessive hair growth, "hair bumps" (folliculitis) It may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, blisters or crusting of treated skin Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fluocinolone or any component of the formulation Taking Derma Smoothe FS Eczema Oil (Fluocinolone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
