Description
Eugia Hydralazine (Hydralazine) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used for the emergency treatment of severe essential hypertension when the drug cannot be given orally or when there is an urgent need to lower blood pressure. It may also have other uses.
Additional information
Eugia Hydralazine (Hydralazine) is given to hospitalized patients. The parenteral administration of Eugia Hydralazine (Hydralazine) should always be carried out cautiously and under strict medical supervision. Administer the solution by slow intravenous injection. For ease of administration, the solution may be further diluted with physiological saline. WARNING: Blood pressure and heart rate should be checked frequently (i.e., every 5 minutes). Blood pressure levels may begin to decrease within a few minutes after injection, with the average maximal decrease occurring between 10 and 80 minutes. In cases where there has been increased intracranial pressure, lowering the blood pressure may increase cerebral ischemia. A satisfactory response can be defined as a decrease in diastolic blood pressure to 90-100 mmHg.
