Description
Feno micro (Fenofibrate) is an anti-hypercholesterolemia and anti-hypertriglyceridemia agent. It is typically used for the treatment of high levels of triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood. It may also have other uses.

Feno micro (Fenofibrate) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact the pharmacist. Administer with the main meal. WARNING: May cause cholelithiasis (gallstones), discontinue if gallstones are found upon gallbladder studies. In addition to its desired action, Feno micro (Fenofibrate) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause increased serum alanine aminotransferase, increased serum aspartate aminotransferase (liver damage). It may cause pulmonary embolism (lung clot). It may cause skin rash, urticaria (hives). It may cause abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia (indigestion). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fenofibrate or fenofibric acid or any component of the formulation, active liver disease, including primary biliary cirrhosis (liver disease) and unexplained, persistent liver function abnormality, severe renal (kidney) impairment or end-stage renal disease, including those receiving dialysis, pre-existing gallbladder disease (inflammation, infection, stones or blockage of the gallbladder), breastfeeding. Taking Feno micro (Fenofibrate) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Feno micro (Fenofibrate) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
