Description
FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone) is a corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to treat eye inflammation caused by surgery, injury, or other conditions. It may also have other uses.

FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone) is typically used two to four times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. For topical ophthalmic (eye) use only. Shake suspension well before using. Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place 1 drop into the eye. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of your eye (near the nose) and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the medication from draining out. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with glaucoma (a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve). Use caution in patients with history of herpes simplex (a virus that can be transmitted from person to person through direct contact). In addition to its desired action, FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause hypersensitivity reaction. It may cause bacterial eye infection, blurred vision, burning sensation of eyes. It may cause foreign body sensation of eye, increased lacrimation (tears). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fluorometholone, other corticosteroids, or any component of the formulation, viral diseases of the eye, mycobacterial (bacteria) or fungal infections of the eye, acute purulent (a thick yellowish or greenish opaque liquid produced in infected tissue) untreated eye infections which may be masked/enhanced by a steroid. Taking FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.FmL Liquifilm (Fluorometholone)
