Description
Gravol Kids liquid (Dimenhydrinate) is an anti-emetic agent. It is typically used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness due to motion sickness. It may also have other uses.

Gravol Kids liquid (Dimenhydrinate) is typically given to children under 2 years as directed by a physician. Children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old should take 1 teaspoon (5 mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed. They should not take more than 5 teaspoons (25 mL) in 24 hours. Children aged 6 to 12 years should take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed. They should not take more than 10 teaspoons (50 mL) in 24 hours. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for your child. The first dose should be taken at least 30 minutes and preferably 1 or 2 hours before traveling. It can be taken with or without food. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Drowsiness may occur. Excitability may occur, especially in children. In addition to its desired action, Gravol Kids liquid (Dimenhydrinate) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause constipation, dry mouth, or lack of energy. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate or any component of the formulation, chronic lung diseases, patients who have difficulty passing urine due to an enlarged prostate (prostate hypertrophy), glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).Gravol Kids liquid (Dimenhydrinate)
