Description
Inhibace (Cilazapril) is a antihypertensive agent. It is typically used to treat mild-to-moderate high blood pressure and some heart problems. It may also have other uses.

Inhibace (Cilazapril) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. May be administered with or without food. WARNING: Avoid use in patients with liver problems, cardiac problems, renal (kidney) impairment In addition to its desired action, Inhibace (Cilazapril) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dry cough, rash, hypotension, dizziness, fatigue It may cause headaches, nausea and other stomach and intestine problems Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cilazapril, any other similar agents, or any component of the formulation, angioedema (swelling of the skin and mucous membranes) related to previous treatment with similar agent, liver damage, moderate to severe renal (kidney), patients who are pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or of childbearing potential who are not using adequate contraception, breastfeeding, hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose (sugars) malabsorption, or congenital lactase deficiency (a disorder in which infants are unable to break down lactose in breast milk or formula) Taking Inhibace (Cilazapril) during pregnancy is harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Inhibace (Cilazapril) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
