Description
Jamp Loratadine (Loratadine) is an anti-allergy agent. It is typically used for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergies, including sneezing, itchy and runny nose, and tearing and redness of the eyes. It is also used for the relief of symptoms associated with hives (urticaria). It may also have other uses.

Jamp Loratadine (Loratadine) is typically taken once daily. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Loratadine usually starts working within 2 hours and lasts for 24 hours. It may be taken with or without food. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Loratadine is a non-sedating medication. Because of its low incidence of side effects, it seems to be a good choice in the elderly. Use with caution in patients with kidney and liver impairment. In addition to its desired action, Jamp Loratadine (Loratadine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause cough, drowsiness, fatigue, and headache. It may cause dry mouth, heartburn, increased appetite, and nausea. It may cause nervousness or restlessness (especially in children), and pounding, fast, or irregular heartbeat. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to loratadine or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
