JAMP MULTI 10 (Vitamin A Folic Acid Calcium Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is typically given once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. It should be taken with a meal and with a full glass of water. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: In case the anemia is caused by a deficiency in vitamin B12, folic acid should not be used alone. Taking more than you need of multivitamins costs more and might also raise your risk of side effects. For example, too much vitamin A can cause headaches and liver damage, reduce bone strength, and cause birth defects. Excess iron causes nausea and vomiting and may damage the liver and other organs. Do not take more than the recommended dose without your physician or pharmacist approval. In addition to its desired action, JAMP MULTI 10 (Vitamin A Folic Acid Calcium Vitamin B1 (thiamine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause indigestion and constipation Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Adequate and well-controlled studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy (and there is no evidence of risk in later trimesters).
