Description
Lidemol (Fluocinonide) is a corticosteroid agent. It is typically used for inflammation and itching. It may also have other uses.

Lidemol (Fluocinonide) is typically used two to four times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. For external use only. Not for ophthalmic (eye), oral, or intravaginal use. For topical use only. Apply sparingly in a thin film. Rub in lightly. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands after application (unless hands are part of the treatment area). WARNING: Children may absorb larger amounts after topical application and may be more prone to side effects. If irritation develops, discontinued use and institute appropriate therapy. Do not use in the eyes. In addition to its desired action, Lidemol (Fluocinonide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dryness, burning, itching, local irritation It may cause change in pigmentation and secondary infection, localized burning Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fluocinonide or any component of the formulation Taking Lidemol (Fluocinonide) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Lidemol (Fluocinonide) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
