Description
m Urea (Urea) is a keratolytic agent (pertaining to keratolysis, the softening and shedding of the horny outer layer of the skin). It is typically used to treat dry/rough skin conditions (such as eczema, psoriasis, corns, callus) and some nail problems (such as ingrown nails). It may also be used to help remove dead tissue in some wounds to help wound healing. It may also have other uses.

m Urea (Urea) is typically applied to the targeted areas of the skin and/or nails up to twice a day. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Apply to affected area, rub in until completely absorbed. WARNING: Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if redness, discomfort, or irritation occurs. May cause photosensitivity. Used skin protection and limit sun exposure during therapy and for one week after. In addition to its desired action, m Urea (Urea) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause local irritation. It may cause burning sensation of skin, itching, stinging, redness. Contraindications: Clinically significant hypersensitivity to urea or any component of the formulation. Taking m Urea (Urea) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
