Description
Mar Midodrine (Midodrine) is an agent that raises blood pressure. It is typically used for the treatment of orthostatic hypotension (sudden fall in blood pressure that occurs when a person assumes a standing position). It may also have other uses.

Mar Midodrine (Midodrine) is typically used three time daily. Doses may be given in approximately 3- to 4-hour intervals. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Avoid dosing after the evening meal or within 4 hours of bedtime to prevent hypertension (increase in blood pressure). Usually administered in 3 equally divided doses daily, without regard to meals. WARNING: This medication should be used with caution in people having visual problems, liver and kidneys disease and diabetes. In addition to its desired action, Mar Midodrine (Midodrine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause itchy scalp, increased blood pressure, increased urinary urgency. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to midodrine or any component of the formulation. Liver and kidney diseases, heart disease, urinary retention. Taking Mar Midodrine (Midodrine) during pregnancy is contraindicated and harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
