Description
Mint Cetirizine (Cetirizine) is an anti-allergy agent. It is typically used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (sneezing, congestion, coughing, itchy watery eyes, and itchy nose, mouth, and throat, and fatigue) and treatment of uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic spontaneous urticaria (hives). It may also have other uses.

Mint Cetirizine (Cetirizine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. May be administered with or without food. WARNING: May impair physical or mental abilities, patients must be cautioned about performing tasks that require mental alertness (e.g., operating machinery or driving). In addition to its desired action, Mint Cetirizine (Cetirizine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause drowsiness, headache It may cause cardiac failure, chest pain, edema (swelling), facial edema (swelling), flushing, hypertension (high blood pressure) It may cause acne vulgaris, alopecia (hair loss), diaphoresis (excessive sweating), eczema (skin disease) It may cause decreased libido, dehydration, diabetes mellitus, heavy menstrual bleeding, hot flushes, increased thirst, weight gain Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, levocetirizine, or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Mint Cetirizine (Cetirizine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
