Description
Mint Irbesartan (Irbesartan) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease) in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension. It may also have other uses.

Mint Irbesartan (Irbesartan) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: This medication can cause injury and death to the developing fetus. Discontinue as soon as possible once pregnancy is detected. In addition to its desired action, Mint Irbesartan (Irbesartan) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache It may cause increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight, lightheadedness, rash Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to irbesartan or any component of the formulation, concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes mellitus Taking Mint Irbesartan (Irbesartan) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Mint Irbesartan (Irbesartan) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
