Neo Medrol Acne Lotion (Methylprednisolone Neomycin Aluminium Sulfur) is an anti-acne agent. It is typically used to control acne in adolescents and young adults. It may also have other uses.

Neo Medrol Acne Lotion (Methylprednisolone Neomycin Aluminium Sulfur) is typically used once or twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Carefully clean the affected skin to minimize the possibility of causing additional infection. Apply the lotion sparingly to the affected areas. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes. WARNING: If signs of skin irritation or sensitivity develop, stop using the lotion and contact your doctor. During prolonged or repeated treatment with neomycin, other bacteria or fungi may be allowed to overgrow. If your condition does not improve or worsens while taking Neo Medrol Acne Lotion (Methylprednisolone Neomycin Aluminium Sulfur), contact your doctor. In addition to its desired action, Neo Medrol Acne Lotion (Methylprednisolone Neomycin Aluminium Sulfur) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause increased redness or scaling of the skin sores, skin rash. It may cause skin infection, burning and itching of the skin. Contraindications: if you are allergic to neomycin, to methylprednisolone, or to any of the ingredients of the medication, if you have chicken pox (viral infection), if you have herpes simplex (viral infection), if you have skin infections that do not respond to neomycin, if you have tuberculosis of the skin (bacterial infection). Taking Neo Medrol Acne Lotion (Methylprednisolone Neomycin Aluminium Sulfur) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
