Description

Norlutate (Norethindrone) is a hormonal agent. It is typically used to treat women who suffer from abnormal bleeding from the uterus (the womb) and endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes). It is also used to treat women who have stopped having menstrual periods for several months (amenorrhea) but who are not pregnant or going through menopause. It may also have other uses.

Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. It is taken with food or after a meal to prevent stomach upset. Administer at the same time each day.
