Description
NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe) is an anti-hypercholesterolemia agent. It is typically used in addition to exercise and a healthy diet to lower cholesterol levels for people with high cholesterol. It may also be used with additional cholesterol-lowering medications known as “statins” or fenofibrate when either therapy alone is not sufficient to reduce cholesterol to desired levels. It may also have other uses.

NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe) is usually given once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food, and ≥2 hours before or ≥4 hours after bile acid sequestrants medications. WARNING: Secondary causes of hyperlipidemia (high lipid levels) or high cholesterol level should be ruled out prior to therapy. Use with caution in patients with liver and kidney diseases. Myopathy (any disease that affects the muscles that control voluntary movement in the body), was reported in rare cases. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause fatigue, joint pain, diarrhea and respiratory infections. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ezetimibe or any component of the formulation, concomitant use with statin medications in patients with active liver disease or high liver enzymes, pregnancy and breastfeeding (when used concomitantly with a statin). Taking NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor. A treatment with NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.NRA Ezetimibe (Ezetimibe)
