Description
Ozanex (Ozenoxacine) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of impetigo (a contagious bacterial skin infection forming pustules and yellow crusty sores). It may also have other uses.

Ozanex (Ozenoxacine)'s dosage depends on the condition, it is usually given twice daily for 5 days. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection, discontinue use if superinfection occurs. For topical use only, not for oral, ophthalmic (in the eyes), intranasal (in the nose), or intravaginal (inside the vagina) used. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Ozanex (Ozenoxacine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may rosacea-like face eruption (If your face looks like you're blushing and you get bumps that are a bit like acne, you might have a skin condition called rosacea), seborrheic dermatitis (a common skin condition that mainly affects your scalp. It causes scaly patches, red skin and stubborn dandruff). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity (severe allergy) to ozenoxacin or any component of the formulation. Taking Ozanex (Ozenoxacine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. There is no available data regarding the harm of Ozanex (Ozenoxacine) for the fetus, therefore it is not recommended to use it. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Ozanex (Ozenoxacine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
