Description
PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used for hypertension (high blood pressure). It may also have other uses.

PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) is typically taken once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) with or without food. WARNING: This medication can cause injury and death to the developing fetus. Discontinue as soon as possible once pregnancy is detected. In addition to its desired action, PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause back or leg pain, constipation, decreased appetite It may cause decreased interest in sexual activity, diarrhea, dizziness or lightheadedness when rising from a lying or sitting position Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to candesartan, hydrochlorothiazide or other sulfonamide-derived drugs (sulfadiazine, sulfamethizole), or any component of the formulation, anuria (failure of kidneys to produce urine), concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes mellitus Taking PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PMS Candesartan HCTZ (Candesartan Hydrochlorothiazide) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
