Description
PMS Doxylamine Pyridoxine (Pyridoxine Doxylamine) is an anti-nausea agent. It is typically used for the treatment of pregnancy-associated nausea and vomiting in patients not responsive to conservative management. It may also have other uses.

PMS Doxylamine Pyridoxine (Pyridoxine Doxylamine)'s dosage depends on the condition, it is usually given once or twice daily in the usual range (20 mg - 40 mg). However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer on an empty stomach. WARNING: May impair physical or mental abilities, patients must be cautioned about performing tasks which require mental alertness (e.g., operating machinery or driving). Because of its considerable anticholinergic symptoms that include dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, bowel obstruction, and sedative properties, doxylamine is not recommended for use in the elderly. Use with caution in patients with respiratory disease, stomach perforation, high intraocular pressure, and urinary obstruction. In addition to its desired action, PMS Doxylamine Pyridoxine (Pyridoxine Doxylamine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache and palpitations. It may cause weight loss, constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain and xerostomia or dry mouth. It may cause blurred vision and urinary retention. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to doxylamine, pyridoxine, some antihistamines, or any component of the formulation, concomitant use with some antidepressant medications, patients with narrow-angle glaucoma (serious eye condition that happens because of changes in the iris, or part of the eye with color), stomach narrowing, stomach obstruction, bladder opening obstruction, or at risk for asthmatic attack: inflammatory respiratory disease attack. Adequate and well-controlled studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy (and there is no evidence of risk in the last trimesters). If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PMS Doxylamine Pyridoxine (Pyridoxine Doxylamine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
