Description
PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure. It is also used after heart attacks to reduce the risk of another heart attack and prevent the onset or worsening of heart failure. It may also have other uses.

PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. May administer with or without food. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with heart disease, liver impairment, dosage adjustment recommended. Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment. In addition to its desired action, PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause hypotension (decreased blood pressure), dizziness, increased uric acid (waste product found in blood) It may cause cough, low heart rate, heart problems, high potassium levels in the blood, low calcium levels in the blood It may cause muscle pain, weakness Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to trandolapril or any component of the formulation, coadministration with aliskiren in patients with diabetes, hereditary/unknown angioedema (skin reaction characterized by swelling of the skin and mucous membranes), history of angioedema (skin reaction characterized by swelling of the skin and mucous membranes) related to previous treatment with similar agents, coadministration with or within 36 hours of switching to or from a sacubitril and similar agents Taking PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.PMS Trandolapril (Trandolapril)
