Description
PPC Ceftazidime (Ceftazidime) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of different types of infections including blood infection, bone and joints infection, brain infection, stomach infection, lung infection, skin infection, prophylaxis treatment of infections for patient having low immunity, urinary and genital infections. It may also have other uses.

PPC Ceftazidime (Ceftazidime) is typically used three times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Your doctor or nurse will administer PPC Ceftazidime (Ceftazidime) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue treatment and institute appropriate supportive measures. Prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection. Use with caution in patients with a history of kidney impairment and seizure (a burst of uncontrolled electrical activity between brain cells). These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, PPC Ceftazidime (Ceftazidime) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, skin rash, fever and liver disturbances. It may cause pain at injection site and inflammation at the injection site. Contraindications: hypersensitivity or severe allergy to ceftazidime, other cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillins, other similar antibiotics, or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PPC Ceftazidime (Ceftazidime) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
