Additional information
PPC Penicillin G (Penicillin G)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinical setting. It can either be injected into the muscle (intramuscular) or into the veins (intravenous). WARNING: Long-term use of Penicillin G may cause it not to work anymore in the future (resistance), more bacteria and fungi to grow (superinfection), and bacteria that do not die (resistance). Penicillin only treats bacterial infections, not viral infections such as the common cold. Use with caution in patients with kidney disease and seizure disorders. In addition to its desired action, PPC Penicillin G (Penicillin G) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itchiness, swelling, difficulty breathing, and others). It may cause coma or seizures at high doses. It may cause pain at the injection site. It may cause skin rash or exfoliative dermatitis (severe inflammation of the entire skin surface). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any penicillin or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PPC Penicillin G (Penicillin G) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
