Description
Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine) is an antiglaucoma agent. It is typically used to treat high pressure in the eye due to open-angle glaucoma (a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve) or ocular hypertension (high pressure inside the eye). It may also have other uses.

Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine) is typically used twice daily. For the eyes use only. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Shake bottle well prior to administration. If using additional topical ophthalmic preparations, separate administration by at least 5 minutes. Remove contact lenses prior to administration and wait 15 minutes after administration before re-inserting. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) problems. Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) problems. Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular (heart) problems. In addition to its desired action, Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause bad taste in mouth, blurred vision, drowsiness, dry eyes, dry mouth, dry nose or throat, eye pain, eye redness, headache. It may cause increased tear production, stomach ache, tired eyes, trouble sleeping. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to brinzolamide, brimonidine, or any component of the formulation, neonates, infants, and children <2 years of age. Taking Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Simbrinza (Brinzolamide Brimonidine)
