Tactupump (Adapalene Benzoyl Peroxide)

Tactupump (Adapalene Benzoyl Peroxide) is typically used once per day at bedtime. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Apply a pea-sized amount for each area of the face and/or trunk (e.g., forehead, chin, each cheek). Skin should be clean and dry before applying. For external use only, avoid applying to eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not apply to cuts, abrasions, eczematous (an inflammatory condition of the skin characterized by redness, itching, and oozing vesicular lesions which become scaly, crusted, or hardened) or sunburned skin.

WARNING: May bleach hair or colored fabric. Use is associated with increased susceptibility/sensitivity to UV light, avoid sun lamps or excessive sunlight exposure. Daily sunscreen use and other protective measures are recommended if sun exposure cannot be avoided. Certain cutaneous (skin) signs and symptoms (e.g., erythema (redness), dryness, scaling, burning/stinging) may occur during treatment, these are most likely to occur during the first 4 weeks and usually lessen with continued use. In addition to its desired action, Tactupump (Adapalene Benzoyl Peroxide) may cause some side effects, notably:

It may cause local dryness, stinging sensation of the skin, localized erythema (redness)
It may cause dry skin, skin irritation, contact dermatitis (inflammation of the skin caused by direct contact with an irritant), burning sensation of skin, eczema
It may cause application site irritation

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or any component of the formulation

Taking Tactupump (Adapalene Benzoyl Peroxide) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
