Description

Ultibro Breezhaler (Glycopyrronium Indacaterol) is a bronchodilator agent. It is typically used to treat COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties). It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Ultibro Breezhaler (Glycopyrronium Indacaterol) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer this drug at the same time each day. Ultibro Breezhaler capsules must be administered only by the oral inhalation route and only using the Ultibro Breezhaler inhaler. Capsules must not be swallowed. Capsules must always be stored in the blister to protect from moisture, and only removed IMMEDIATELY before use. Discard any capsules that are exposed to air and not used immediately. 

WARNING: Safety and efficacy in patients with asthma not established, ULTIBRO BREEZHALER is not indicated for asthma (long-term disease of the lungs). Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular (heart) disease. Use with caution in patients with hypokalemia (deficiency of potassium in the bloodstream). Use with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar level). Use with caution in patients with seizure (a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain).

In addition to its desired action, Ultibro Breezhaler (Glycopyrronium Indacaterol) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause abdominal pain, cavities, cough, diarrhea, difficulty falling asleep, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, hyperglycemia (high blood sugar).
It may cause muscle spasms, nausea, high blood pressure, skin rash.
It may cause sore throat, tiredness, upset stomach, vomiting.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to indacaterol, glycopyrrolate, or any component of the formulation, monotherapy in the treatment of asthma (long-term disease of the lungs).

Taking Ultibro Breezhaler (Glycopyrronium Indacaterol) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
