Description
Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used to treat high blood pressure. It may also have other uses.

Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer this drug with or without food. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) impairment. Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment. Hyperkalemia (high potassium level) may occur, monitor serum potassium levels periodically in patients receiving this drug. In addition to its desired action, Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause peripheral edema (swelling of the lower legs or hands), dizziness, headache, cough. It may cause diarrhea, nausea, hyperkalemia, irregular heartbeats. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Perindopril, amlodipine, or any component of the formulation, history of hereditary or acquired angioedema (swelling) associated with previous ACE inhibitor treatment (antihypertensive drugs), concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes (high blood sugar) or with renal impairment, concomitant use or within 36 hours of switching to or from a neprilysin inhibitor (antihypertensive drugs). Taking Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Viacoram (Perindopril Amlodipine)
