Description
Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) is an antiviral agent. It is typically used to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. It may also have other uses.

Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with food. WARNING: Screen for evidence of current or prior HBV (hepatitis B virus) infection before initiating this treatment. This medication is prepared with lactose. If you have lactose or galactose intolerance you should not take Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir). The safety and effectiveness of using Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) have not been established for people who also have HIV infection. If you have HIV infection, discuss with your doctor how Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) may affect your medical condition. The use of Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) is not recommended for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as other medications which must be taken with sofosbuvir - velpatasvir - voxilaprevir (in particular ribavirin) may cause birth defects or the death of the fetus if it is used during pregnancy. Do not use Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) if you are pregnant or if your partner is pregnant. Two forms of effective birth control (one for each partner) must be used during treatment and for 6 months after stopping therapy. During this time, women will have monthly pregnancy tests to ensure they are not pregnant. In addition to its desired action, Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, liver damage It may cause insomnia (sleep disorders that can make it hard to fall asleep), skin rash Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to sofosbuvir, velpatasvir, voxilaprevir or any component of the formulation. Concurrent use with rifampin. Taking Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Vosevi (Sofosbuvir Velpatasvir Voxilaprevir) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
