Description

Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil) is hair regrowth agent. It is typically used for the treatment of hair loss. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil) is given once or twice daily. You should apply 1 g to maximum 2 g per day on a dry scalp while gently massaging your scalp. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. 
 
WARNING: It is not recommended to use it if you have any kind of dressing or bandage on your scalp. It is not recommended to use it if you have hair loss caused by drug treatment or if you have total baldness or complete loss of all body hair.
 
In addition to its desired action, Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause headaches, itching and non- scalp hair growth (hair growth on the face)
 
Contraindications: Do not use it if you have a skin condition affecting your scalp. Do not use it if you have hair loss due to a specific disease condition. Do not use it if you are hypertensive. 
 
Taking Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
 
A treatment with Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Womens Rogaine (Minoxidil)
