Taro Clindamycin (Clindamycin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used to treat mild to moderate acne. It may also have other uses.

Taro Clindamycin (Clindamycin) is typically used twice a day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth or other mucous membranes. WARNING: Use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection). Use with caution in atopic patients (problem with your immune system that makes you more likely to develop allergic diseases) In addition to its desired action, Taro Clindamycin (Clindamycin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause burning, itching, dryness, redness It may cause oily skin, skin peeling, or other irritation of treated skin Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to clindamycin, lincomycin, or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Taro Clindamycin (Clindamycin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
