Description
Propaderm (Beclometasone) is a topical corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, a group of conditions that make your skin inflamed or irritated). It may also have other uses.

Propaderm (Beclometasone) is typically used one to three times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes. Apply a thin film sparingly. WARNING: Use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection). Not for oral, ophthalmic (eye), or intravaginal use, avoid contact with eyes. Use the least amount needed to cover the affected area. In addition to its desired action, Propaderm (Beclometasone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause local burning, irritation, itching Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation, used on infected skin lesions without concomitant use of an anti-infective agent, fungal and viral infections of the skin, pregnancy Taking Propaderm (Beclometasone) during pregnancy is harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Propaderm (Beclometasone) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
