Description

Delstrigo (Doravirine Tenofovir Lamivudine) is an antiviral agent. It is typically used to treat HIV infection (a virus that attacks the body’s immune system. If HIV is not treated, it can lead to AIDS). It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Delstrigo (Doravirine Tenofovir Lamivudine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Take this drug with or without food.
WARNING: If you've ever had hepatitis B (a serious liver infection caused by a virus), it may become active or get worse after you stop using this medicine. You may need frequent liver function tests for several months.
In addition to its desired action, Delstrigo (Doravirine Tenofovir Lamivudine) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause diarrhea, dizziness, headache, nightmares, difficulty in sleeping. It may cause tiredness, vomiting, weakness, nausea, skin rash. It can cause abdominal pain, muscle pain, fever.
Contraindications: if you're allergic to doravirine, lamivudine, tenofovir, or any ingredients of the medication, if you are taking any of the following medications: carbamazepine, enzalutamide, mitotane, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, rifapentine, St. John's wort.
Taking Delstrigo (Doravirine Tenofovir Lamivudine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. There is no available data regarding the harm of Delstrigo (Doravirine Tenofovir Lamivudine) for the fetus, therefore it is not recommended to use it. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
