Description
Orilissa (Elagolix) is an anti-endometriosis agent. It is typically used to treat the moderate-to-severe pain that occurs with endometriosis by blocking the effects of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which reduces the amount of estrogen produced by the body. Endometriosis is a painful condition where the tissue that normally forms the lining of the uterus (the womb) grows outside of the uterus. It may also have other uses.
