Description

Rosiver 1% (Ivermectin) is an antiparasitic agent. It is typically used for the treatment of inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules) of rosacea (a chronic inflammatory skin disorder typically involving the nose, forehead, and chin that is characterized especially by redness, flushing) by adults 18 years of age or older. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Rosiver 1% (Ivermectin) is typically used once a day at bedtime. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. For external use only. Apply a pea-size amount as a thin layer on each affected area (e.g., forehead, chin, nose, each cheek). Do not apply cosmetics immediately before the daily application of ROSIVER. You should use these products only after the applied ROSIVER has dried.
WARNING: Not for oral, ophthalmic (eye), or vaginal use, avoid contact with eyes and lips. Wash hands after application.
In addition to its desired action, Rosiver 1% (Ivermectin) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause localized burning, skin irritation Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ivermectin or any component of the formulation
Taking Rosiver 1% (Ivermectin) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
