Description
PMS Trazodone (Trazodone) is an antidepressant agent. It is typically used to treat symptoms of depression. It may also have other uses.

PMS Trazodone (Trazodone) is typically taken in 2 or 3 divided doses with a meal or light snack (the recommended adult dose of trazodone ranges from 150 mg to 300 mg daily). However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: May cause impairments in the physical or mental abilities, patients must be cautioned about performing tasks that require mental alertness (e.g., operating machinery, driving). May cause falls and fractures (e.g., hip, pelvis, humerus, forearm) when used in elderly patients. It may worsen symptoms of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes), such as blurred vision or eye pain or pressure, use with caution in patients with glaucoma. Use with caution in patient having kidney and liver disease and certain heart conditions in addition to patient having brain damage and suffering from alcoholism. In addition to its desired action, PMS Trazodone (Trazodone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, water retention, low blood pressure and chest pain. It may cause diarrhea, flatulence (gas), vomiting and nausea. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to trazodone or any component of the formulation. Taking PMS Trazodone (Trazodone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
