Description
Apo Bisoprolol (Bisoprolol) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It may also have other uses.

Apo Bisoprolol (Bisoprolol) is typically taken once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer without regard to food. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) impairment, dosage adjustment may be required. In addition to its desired action, Apo Bisoprolol (Bisoprolol) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause cough, diarrhea It may cause fatigue, headache It may cause insomnia, joint pain It may cause nausea, sore throat Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Bisoprolol, cardiogenic shock (a life-threatening condition in which your heart suddenly can't pump enough blood to meet your body's needs), overt cardiac (heart) failure, marked sinus bradycardia (slow heart rate) or heart block greater than first-degree, when the electrical signal that controls your heartbeat is partially or completely blocked (except in patients with a functioning artificial pacemaker). Taking Apo Bisoprolol (Bisoprolol) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
