Description
Levitra (Vardenafil) is used to treat male sexual function problems. It is typically used to treat erectile dysfunction, more commonly known as impotence, in men. It may also have other uses.

Levitra (Vardenafil) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. May be administered with or without food, approximately 60 minutes prior to sexual activity. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with anatomical deformation of the penis, bleeding disorders, cardiac disease (low blood pressure, high blood pressure, cardiac failure.), liver disease, renal (kidney) impairment, dose adjustment may be needed. Use with caution in elderly, dose adjustment may be required. In addition to its desired action, Levitra (Vardenafil) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause flushing, dyspepsia (pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen), headache It may cause dizziness, nausea, back pain It may cause flu like symptoms, nasal congestion Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to vardenafil or any component of the formulation. Coadministration with nitrates, nitric oxide donors (nitroglycerin and similar agents), or concomitant use of riociguat (for high blood pressure in the lungs). Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Levitra (Vardenafil) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
