Description
NRA Rosuvastatin (Rosuvastatin) is an anticholesterol agent. It is typically used to help lower bad cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol made by the liver. It may also have other uses.

NRA Rosuvastatin (Rosuvastatin) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Administer with or without food. May be taken at anytime of the day, swallow tablet whole. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Consider dosage reduction if unexplained hematuria (blood in urine) and proteinuria (increased levels of proteins in urine) persists. In addition to its desired action, NRA Rosuvastatin (Rosuvastatin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause muscle ache and pain. It may cause diabetes mellitus, constipation, nausea, dizziness, headache. It may cause increased liver enzymes. It may cause joints pain. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or any component of the formulation, active liver disease, unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases, pregnancy, breastfeeding. Taking NRA Rosuvastatin (Rosuvastatin) during pregnancy is contraindicated and harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
