Description
PMS Bosentan (Bosentan) is a vasodilator agent. It is typically used for the treatment of pulmonary artery hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs), to improve exercise ability and to decrease clinical deterioration. It may also have other uses.

PMS Bosentan (Bosentan)'s dosage depends on the condition (usual range: 125 mg - 250 mg). Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: Bosentan is likely to cause major birth defects if used by pregnant women based on animal data. Therefore, pregnancy must be excluded before the start of treatment with bosentan. Bosentan is associated with transaminase elevations (liver damage). In addition to its desired action, PMS Bosentan (Bosentan) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, indigestion It may cause redness of the face, fatigue It may cause water retention and swelling Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to bosentan or any component of the formulation, concurrent use of cyclosporine or glyburide, women who are or may become pregnant. Taking PMS Bosentan (Bosentan) during pregnancy is contraindicated and harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
