Description
SDZ Gentamicin (Gentamicin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of serious infections (e.g., sepsis (the body’s extreme response to an infection), meningitis (an inflammation (swelling) of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord), urinary tract infections, respiratory (lung) tract infections, peritonitis (inflammation of the peritoneum — a silk-like membrane that lines your inner abdominal wall and covers the organs within your abdomen — that is usually due to a bacterial or fungal infection), bone infections, skin and soft tissue infections) caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms (some bacteria). It may also have other uses.

Your doctor or nurse will administer SDZ Gentamicin (Gentamicin) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: May cause nephrotoxicity (kidney toxicity). It may cause fetal harm if administered to a pregnant woman. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
