SDZ Papaverine (Papaverine) is an antispasmodics agent. It is typically used to treat certain conditions that cause blood vessels to spasm. It may also have other uses.

SDZ Papaverine (Papaverine)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. Your doctor or nurse will administer SDZ Papaverine (Papaverine) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with glaucoma (an eye disease that can damage the optic nerve). Use with caution in patients with heart problems. In addition to its desired action, SDZ Papaverine (Papaverine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause fast or irregular heartbeat, hypersensitivity reaction, skin rash. It may cause stomach pain, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, yellowing of the eyes or skin. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to papaverine, complete atrioventricular heart blockage (when the electrical signal that controls the heartbeat is partially or completely blocked). Taking SDZ Papaverine (Papaverine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
