Description
Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone) is a topical corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, which is a group of conditions that make your skin inflamed or irritated, but also allergies, rash). It reduces the swelling, itching and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. It may also have other uses.

Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone) is typically used twice a day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Avoid contact with eyes. WARNING: Use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection). Children may absorb proportionally larger amounts after topical application and may be more prone to side effects. In addition to its desired action, Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause rash, itching, or irritation around your mouth,burning, irritation, itching, or dryness of treated skin, It may cause redness or crusting around your hair follicles It may cause increased hair growth, blisters, pimples, or crusting of treated skin It may cause changes in color of treated skin, stretch marks Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to desoximetasone or any component of the formulation. Taking Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Topicort Mild (Desoximetasone)
