WARNING: Syncope (fainting) has been reported with use of injectable vaccines and may result in serious secondary injury In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, drowsiness, fatigue, fever It may cause generally feeling unwell, headache, irritability or fussiness (children and infants) It may cause loss of appetite, muscle aches, nausea Contraindications: Severe allergic reaction after a previous dose of any hepatitis A–containing or hepatitis B–containing vaccine, or any component of the formulation, including yeast and neomycin. Taking this medication during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
