Inspiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Olodaterol respimat)

Inspiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Olodaterol respimat) is typically given as 2 puffs, inhaled once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Breathe out slowly and fully. Close your lips around the mouthpiece without covering the air vents. Point the inhaler to the back of your throat. while taking a slow, deep breath through your mouth, press the dose-release button and continue to breathe in. Hold your breath for 10 seconds or for as long as comfortable. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. 
 
WARNING: Olodaterol - tiotropium should not be used as a rescue medication to relieve sudden attacks of COPD symptoms such as wheezing or shortness of breath. It also should not be used to treat asthma (narrow airways). Studies have shown an increase in deaths caused by severe asthma symptoms when such medications have been used without a corticosteroid. Occasionally, Inspiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Olodaterol respimat) may cause the airways to spasm and close up, making breathing even more difficulty (bronchospasm) and can be life-threatening. Use with caution in patients with heart disease (can cause increased heart rate and blood pressure, making certain heart conditions worse), glaucoma (increase eye pressure), hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland, found in the neck), seizure disorders, and prostate hyperplasia (enlarged prostate gland). 
 
In addition to its desired action, Inspiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Olodaterol respimat) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause back pain, cold symptoms (e.g., runny nose, stuffy nose, sore throat), cough, or dehydration.
It may cause constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, difficulty swallowing, hoarseness, or heartburn.
It may cause dizziness, feeling tired, muscle pain or spasms, nosebleeds, or dry skin. 
It may cause swollen and painful joints, trouble sleeping, or inflammation or pain of the gums, tongue, mouth, or throat.
 
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tiotropium, ipratropium, olodaterol, or any component of the formulation. Do not use as monotherapy (use alone without a concomitant inhaled corticosteroid) in the treatment of asthma.
 
Taking Inspiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Olodaterol respimat) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
