Description
Buckley’s (CHEST CONGESTION) is a chest decongestant agent. It is typically used for the fast relief of cough, chest congestion (the result of inflamed air passages in the lungs), nasal and sinus congestion (tight nasal and sinus canals). It may also have other uses.

Buckley’s (CHEST CONGESTION)'s dosage depends on the patient's age, it is usually given every 6 hours as required. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: Tell your doctor if you have a persistent cough, difficulty breathing, asthma (chronic inflammatory lung disease) or other chronic lung conditions, notify your doctor if your are taking any other cough and cold medication. Stop using this syrup and ask your doctor if your symptoms worsen or last for more than 7 days, or are accompanied by the production of thick yellow or green phlegm (type of mucus made in your chest), high fever (>38ºC), rash or persistent headache. In the case of accidental overdose, contact your doctor immediately, even if there are no symptoms. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Buckley’s (CHEST CONGESTION) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dizziness, drowsiness and stomach pain. It may cause nausea, vomiting, headache and rash. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to guaifenesin or menthol or any component of the formulation. Do not give for children under the age of 12 years old. Taking Buckley’s (CHEST CONGESTION) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. There is no available data regarding the harm of Buckley’s (CHEST CONGESTION) for the fetus, therefore it is not recommended to use it.
