Description
incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium) is typically used long term to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties, including chronic bronchitis (bronchi become inflamed and scarred), emphysema (lung condition that causes shortness of breath) or both, for better breathing and fewer flare-ups. It may also have other uses.

incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium) is typically used as one inhalation once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. For oral inhalation only, administer at the same time each day, there is no need to shake the inhaler. WARNING: incRUSE is not for use to treat sudden symptoms of COPD. Use with caution in patients with narrow angle glaucoma (eye problem), urinary retention (inability to voluntarily pass an adequate amount of urine), heart problems. In addition to its desired action, incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause upper respiratory infection, stuffy or runny nose, cough, sore throat. It may cause joint pain, muscle pain, tooth pain, stomach pain. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to umeclidinium or any component of the formulation, severe hypersensitivity to milk proteins. Taking incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.incruse Ellipta (Umeclidinium)
