Description
Ultomiris (Ravulizumab) is a monoclonal antibody agent. It is typically used to treat PNH and aHUS. These are rare and serious conditions where the immune system is attacking the body’s own cells: paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS). In these conditions, the immune system causes red blood cells to break down too early, leading to anemia (low blood cells), fatigue, and other serious health issues. It may also have other uses.
